Junior Computer Programmer

Job Description

Junior level software developer to support the development of numerous software applications relating to the command of other sensors. Qualified candidate will be required to provide complete software lifecycle support.

Responsibilities and Duties:

o Learn and support existing development activities.
o Solicit requirements from customers.
o Design software to fulfill customer requirements.
o Develop software from documented requirements and specifications.
o Find and repair software defects; unit testing.
o Must be able to work in multidisciplinary teams on various projects relating to sensors.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

o Knowledge of Java and C++.
o Ability to take a problem algorithm, develop appropriate source code and create an application for user interaction.
o Experience in multiple operating systems.
o Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
o Strong writing skills considered a benefit.

Minimum Education Requirements:

o Qualified applicant must have a minimum of a BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Engineering Sciences.
o Minimum of 2 years experience in Computer programming.
o Must be a U.S. citizen.
o Must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

Senior Computer Programmer
Job Description

Senior computer programmer to support the development of numerous software applications relating to the command, control, and status monitoring of other sensors. Qualified candidate will be required to provide complete software lifecycle support.

Responsibilities and Duties:

* Mentor junior engineers and support existing development activities.
* Solicit requirements from customers and develop execution plan.
* Design and plan software to fulfill customer requirements.
* Develop software from documented requirements and specifications.
* Find and repair software defects; unit testing.
* Must be able to work in multidisciplinary teams on various projects relating to sensors.
* Some travel may be involved.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

* Advanced knowledge of Java and C++.
* Advanced ability to take a problem algorithm, develop appropriate source code and create an application for user interaction.
* Experience in multiple operating systems.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong writing skills considered a benefit.

Minimum Education Requirements:
