From Duncan:
Computer Sciences Corporation in Blythewood is looking to hire people. We have a contact person who is not in HR who is interested and willing to be your advocate. The operation here is insurance related (CSC in Columbia used to be Mynd and before that was PMSC), but CSC is a huge international company and once you get in the company and demonstrate your worth there can be opportunities around the world in virtually all aspects of computing. (CSC, for example, was the major winner of the contract that outsourced the operation of the National Security Agency’s computer systems to private contractors.)
If you are interested and graduating this May, go to www.csc.com and select Careers across the red line to look for information. Send a resume and cover letter to Loretta Winburn, lwinburn@csc.com, who can serve as your advocate. She suggests that you send her a resume and letter before you submit something formally to CSC.
My expectation would be that if you are not presently legally eligible to work in the US, then CSC is unlikely to be willing to pursue your application.
